All Saints', Newtown Linford

We remain in national lockdown, so all onsite services are suspended for the time being to protect our church and local community. We are reviewing this both with an eye to the national roadmap and the local Public Health guidance. Online services continue to be streamed on Facebook daily at 9.15am (on the St Peter's, Glenfield page) and on Sundays at 10.30am at www.facebook.com/allsaintsnewtownlinford/live
As the vaccine delivery systems locally strengthen and as things develop, we hope - as everyone does - we will be able to move forward into a post-lockdown way of life. But our hope is still based primarily on Jesus Christ, his birth, life, death and resurrection, and his message of peace with God and a way of life shaped by his values. If you want to know more, find out about Alpha, running now online.
We encourage members of our community to help one another if you're able (Newtown Linford Parish Council and NHW) or to ask for help if needed. We're here for you, for prayer and practical help if possible. One of the areas we all need help is in our mental wellbeing and we are running another course online at the moment to support this: wellbeingjourney.org. It's for everyone, not just church-goers, sign up on the Alpha page.
The church building is open for purely private prayer for individuals or households on Wednesday mornings, 9am-1pm.
You can see recent services below.
If you're here because you've seen some of our streamed services and want to know more, welcome! If there is anything we can do to help, maybe there are questions this site doesn't answer, please do contact the Rector: email@example.com
See our news page for more.
Despite the current closure of the church building, we are delighted to announce that we have been presented with the Eco Church Bronze award by A Rocha. This is testament to the hard work put in primarily by Jane Woolmer and reflects initiatives in both practical and spiritual aspects of church life.
Usually the church is open every day Monday - Saturday roughly 10am - 5pm.
However during the current pandemic, this is limited to Wednesday mornings only.
Our services on Sunday are at 8am (every other Sunday) and 10.30am every week.
You are welcome to contact us with any questions about booking weddings or baptisms, information about services, the history or the ongoing life of the church.
