Events and groups
As well as services, a variety of events and groups occur at All Saints' either regularly or from time to time. Some of the regular ones are:

Jolly Tots
Weekly during term-time, a group for pre-school children and their parents/carers. Usually this runs on a Friday morning, 9.15-10.45am in church, but currently it is on Wednesday mornings in the Village Hall.

Choir
Once a month the choir sing at our Morning Prayer services. Most members are also members of the Newtown Linford Choral Society, and the church choir is also led by the Music Director of the Choral Society: Sue Ford. Contact us for more information.

Flower arranging
A small but committed and talented group of volunteers arrange flowers on a rota, with special displays at the major festivals. Again, if you would be interested in joining, do contact us (details below).

In addition...
The village Art Group also meets in the church and exhibitions of their work are becoming a regular annual occurrence. We host concerts of local singers and musicians and, coming soon, an Eco Exhibition showcasing some of the work of the local school, the Biodiversity Group and the church's own commitment to Eco Church.

Bellringing
If you ever wish to experience the joys of bell ringing, want to find out more, or just want to socialise, you are welcome to pop in at any practice at Newtown Linford Church; Monday nights, 8-9pm.
All are welcome to enjoy the bell ringing and the church. No previous experience is necessary!
The team
The majority of the current team began in March 2004, when an advert in the local magazine was requesting a new team of bell ringers for the village. The church bells had been silent for nearly 10 years (with the exceptions of weddings and special occasions) so it was long overdue to bring the traditional sound back into the village!

Since then, we have held weekly practice sessions to teach the skill of ringing, and many people have come along to try it. Some only have a 10 minute session with one of the experienced ringers, some stay for a few months, and some stay for years!

We ring twice a month for Sunday services, as well as for major festivals, weddings and other significant events (including tolling to mark the deaths of Prince Philip and Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth).
